  • ¾ teaspoon oregano
  • 1 ½ teaspoons garlic powder
  • 1 ½ teaspoons cumin
  • 1 tablespoon oil
  • ½ cup onion, chopped
  • 14 ½ ounces chicken broth
  • 4 ounces chopped green chillies
  • 1 bay leaf
  • 30 ounces white beans, rinsed
  • 1 ¼ pounds chicken breast, cooked and cubed
  • shredded monterey jack
  • green onion
  • sour cream

directions

1. Combine spices. Heat oil and add chicken and onion. Cook until brown.
2. Stir in broth, chillies, spices, and bay.
3. Simmer 15 minutes. Stir in beans and simmer 5 minutes. Remove bay.
4. Serve with cheese, green onions, and sour cream.
