ingredients

  • 4-5 cans crushed/diced tomatoes
  • 1 small can tomato paste
  • 1 pound ground beef
  • 1 pound italian sausage, (loose)
  • salt, pepper, garlic, basil, parsley
  • lasagna noodles
  • sliced provolone
  • 1 small container ricotta cheese
  • 1 egg
  • parmesan
  • shredded mozzarella
  • parsley, salt, pepper

directions

1. Cook noodles about 12 minutes.
2. Brown meats and add spices.
3. Add tomatoes to make sauce.
4. In 9x13 pan, layer 1) sauce, 2) noodles, 3) ricotta mixed with remaining ingredients, 4) noodles, 5) sauce with lots of meat, 6) sliced provolone, 7) noodles, 8) sauce and mozzerella, 9) noodles, sauce, parmesan, and mozzarella.
5. Bake at 350 covered for about 35 minutes. Uncover the last 5 minutes (if refrigerated, bake about 60 minutes).
