ingredients

  • 2 cups cooked ham, julienne strips
  • 1 tablespoon oil
  • 1 cup pineapple tidbits
  • 2 tablespoons brown sugar
  • 1 ½ tablespoons cornstarch
  • 3-4 teaspoons vinegar
  • 2 teaspoons mustard
  • ¾ cup water
  • 1 green pepper, diced
  • 2 cups cooked rice

directions

1. Cook rice.
2. Brown ham in hot oil. Drain pineapple, reserving juice. Mix brown sugar, cornstarch, vinegar, and mustard. Stir in reserved juice and water.
3. Add to skillet. Cook and stir until mixture thickens and bubbles.
4. Cover and simmer 10 minutes. Add pineapple and green peppers. Simmer 3-5 minutes.
