  • ¾ cup butter
  • 1 ½ cups sugar
  • 3 eggs
  • 1 ½ tsp vanilla
  • 3 cups flour
  • 1 ½ tsp baking powder
  • 1 ½ tsp baking soda
  • ¼ tsp salt
  • 1 ½ cups sour cream
  • 1 cup brown sugar
  • 1 ½ to 2 tsp cinnamon
  • chocolate chips

directions

1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees and grease tube pan.
2. Blend all the ingredients in the cake batter (all but b. sugar, cinnamon, and chips). Put 1/3 of the batter in the pan and spread evenly with small square spatula.
3. top with 1/3 filling (sugar and cinnamon mixed) and sprinkle with chocolate chips.
4. repeat and repeat a third time and top with filling and chocolate chips.
5. Bake for 60 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean. (Begin checking after 45 min.) 6. Cool 15 minutes then loosen the edges and center with a knife, put a flat plate on top of tube pan and flip and then right away flip on to a serving plate and cool, cut, and eat.
