  • ½ cup butter
  • ¼ cup sugar
  • 1 ⅓ cups flour
  • ½ teaspoon baking powder
  • ¼ teaspoon salt
  • 2 eggs, beaten
  • 1 can eagle brand condensed milk
  • 1 ⅓ cups coconut
  • 1 cup dried apricots, finely chopped

directions

1. In bowl, combine butter, sugar, and 1 cup flour. Cut together until coarse meal forms.
2. Press evenly on bottom and up 1 in of sides of greased 9x9 pans.
3. Bake at 350 for 25 minutes. Remove.
4. Sift together powder sugar, salt, and 1/3 cup flour. Stir in remaining.
5. Spread on pastry. Bake 35 minutes. Cool in pan.
6. Cut into bars.
